Thirty posters on the Bicentennial of Independence, rather on the bicentennial of the inception of the prolonged war that lasted eleven years Indepnedencia and ended in 1821 -. And another thirty for the centenary of the Revolution or the start of the revolution, which has no clear end date: 1917 with the new Constitution, 1938 with the expropriation of the oil and when? -.
The sixty commemorative posters are an outdoor exhibition on the railings of the Museum of Anthropology in Xalapa. They are works of artists xalapa @ s and other latitudes. The exhibition is sponsored by the Institute of Graphic Arts at the Universidad Veracruzana. The posters could be larger to be seen from the street, no place.
The exhibition title is inspired by the carbines used by the revolutionaries. These works include the large backlog of Mexico and the betrayals of the revolution. Are somewhat a replica of those rifles that took up a hundred years ago. As the poster of Frida says Ocampo, Celebrating with the spoils of his conquests: energy resources, land, public education and labor rights.
